How
long should my bath strip be?
You don't have to follow the rules, but it does help to know what they are. We've

is the difference between brushed silver and brushed chrome? I wish there
were a real answer to that question. It depends on who makes it. If you tell me
a particular fixture, I might be of more help. Every company calls it something
different. Sometimes one is shinier, sometimes one is whiter, sometimes there
is no difference at all. They coordinate fine. It is more like matching blacks
than matching blues. I hope that helps. Will
I get a lot more light through white glass than through cobalt? Yes. But
with that sconce the light is also coming out of the top, so a lot of light will
be reflected off the ceiling. Is there other lighting in the room? Are there windows?
How high is the ceiling. Lower means more reflected white light from the halogen.
What colors are the walls, etc. Keep in mind that the blue will also change the
color of your paint, soft furnishings, etc in the room. Big decision. I had selected
blue for my bath. I figured I put on my makeup in the bedroom any way, but it
was disconcerting to get out of the bath and glance at myself. I looked sick,
possibly dead. I finally switched for white. But, I like cobalt elsewhere.
