Inspired by New Orleans designer Paul Grüer’s sculptural work, Star playfully pairs textured crown-like rings with fanciful dangling baubles that remind us to keep reaching for the stars. The tapered square clear seeded glass shades add to the detail.

Lucas McKearn and Flambeau Lighting

Founded in 2016, Lucas McKearn is a joint partnership between UK-based Elstead Lighting and Louisiana-based Flambeau Lighting.

Flambeau brings craft jewelry style to lighting. Paul Grüer comes from a background in jewelry design and papier mache. He loves an organic, unexpected look. He is influenced by Dr. Seuss books. Benjamin Burts is a sculptor and ceramist. He begins with traditional function, then plays with the fundamental design elements; form, texture, light, and space. He finishes his ceramic pieces with metal leaf and acrylic paint applied in thin layers, allowing the clay texture and imperfections full display.
