Progress Illuma-Flex Monorail
Single Circuit Monorail System

With one Illumaflex lighting system, several light fixtures can serve as general, accent, spotlight or illumination lighting. Mix and match decorative track heads and mini-pendants cater to personal styles. Progress Illuma-Flex Monorail can be shaped in the field and designed and cut to navigate curves for custom designs.

Design your rail.

Determine what you want to light.
Decide where track heads, pendants or both will be placed to direct light where you want it.
Design the Monorail run, connecting the lights.
Monorail can be shaped to follow room architecture or create an organic shape.
You can sketch out your room on paper. Draw in your lights, then decide how you want to design the track to suspend them.
You could use string to lay out your design on the floor to determine your length, especially if you have an especially curvy run.
Rail is available in connectable six or twelve foot sections to be bent in the field as needed or used as a straight section.
All rail pieces are field-cuttable and bendable.
Powered connectors join track sections on the same controls and transformer. Non-powered connectors allow you to switch and dim sections of rail separately.
Choose a finish; Brushed Nickel or Urban Bronze.

Determine your mounting.

Determine how far from the ceiling you would you like your rail to run.
Progress Illuma-Flex Monorail ships with 4.75" ceiling support stems.
Additional 4", 8" and 12" stems can be ordered.
The T-bar Adapter allows Illuma-Flex Monorail to be mounted to a drop ceiling.
Adjustable wall stems can attach monorail 8" to 12" cantilevered from the wall.

Choose your lights.

Decide where the fixtures should be installed to put light where you want it.
Select from low voltage track heads and pendants.

Select your transformer.

Add up the wattage from the lights you have chosen.
Select a visible surface mount transformer or a hidden remote transformer with power feed canopy.
Aurface mount electronic transformera install directly to a standard junction box.
Remote magnetic transformers have larger capacity. They can be installed further away, in an attic or closet.
Magnetic transformers minimize any voltage drop potential.
Select your power feed canopy and power feed stems if you are going to use a remote transformer.

(Or start with fixtures and accessories, then decide which layout will best support them.)
